I'm not kidding when I say I can't cook. I tried to be creative with grilled cheese, and ended up with one big fat cheesy mess!

So, they turned out ok and Madi and I continued to eat the grilled cheese and soup. When we got done Madi told me the mess the chicken noodle soup left of her "mapkin" looked like a turtle.

...and she was right!

The "box"

So, just to get started, here is my first blog. A few weeks ago, I asked my darling son to clean up the family room. Knowing he can only do what hes told if I give him a list to check off what needs to be done, I did just that.

1) pick up any garbage and throw it away

2) pick up any clothing and put it down stairs so I can wash it

3) pick up all the shoes and put them in the box

Now, to explain the "box".... it is an old office dept paper box I put near the garage to put our shoes in to get them out of the way...and Nathan really took to heart what I said.

That boy put ALL the shoes in the "box"...gotta love him!!
